Description
Pafford Medical Services is accepting applications for remote location/ advanced practice paramedics. Our remote location paramedics provide services in hard to access locations that do not have close proximity to hospitals or other healthcare providers. Applicants must be capable of providing ALS level medical care within a medical clinic and ground transport ambulance.
Pafford EMS was founded in 1967- We provide Ground and Air Ambulance Service across the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Oklahoma utilizing 100 ground ambulances, 2 helicopters and 2 airplanes.
The ideal applicant will be able to be deployed for 3-6 months and remain on location with little or no absence from the duty station. Applicants must be prepared to report to work within a few days of being hired for the position.

Applicants must have the following qualities, licensure, and certifications prior to applying for employment as a remote location paramedic:
- Current National Registry or State Licensed Paramedic (any state license)
- Current CPR, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, BTLS OR ITLS
- Completion of NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800
- A Minimum of 3 Years Work Experience on a 911 Ambulance, ER or ICU, SCT Ambulance
- Hospital or Clinic Experience desired but not necessary
- Ability to Work Independently as the highest healthcare provider in a team setting
- Clean Back Ground Check
- Clear Drivers License- No DUI or other related conviction
