Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center (SWARMC) is a 48-bed acute care hospital dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare to our community. We offer a full range of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services, including CT, MRI, and mammography, as well as a 24-hour-a-day emergency department, a 12-bed inpatient geriatric behavioral health unit, physical therapy, inpatient pharmacy services, and a Rural Health Clinic.
Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center is looking for an Employee Health/Infection Control RN (dual role) to join their growing team.
The Essential functions of the Employee Health RN are:
- Administers pre-employment health screens, tb skin test and employee vaccinations
- Provides health prevention program, staff education, and internal and external employee health activities
- Maintains up-to-date records and files in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements
- Maintains current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practice
The Essential functions of the Infection Control RN are:
- Collects, monitors, and analyzes clinical information
- Coordinates infection prevention for treatment and control programs
- Serves as Liaison with local and federal health departments in reporting infectious diseases
- Responsible for Joint Commission Standards and Infection Control Task Force.
Qualifications for both positions are:
- Current AR Nursing License.
- A minimum of two years experience in these clinical specialties
- NIMS training within (6) months
- Membership in Association of Infection Control within three months of entry into Infection Control position. Infection Control Certification preferred.
