The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is responsible for the overall organization, leadership, and administration of the nursing departments and key clinical support areas, including Emergency Services, Swing Bed, Inpatient and Outpatient Services, the Rural Health Clinic, Infection Control, Quality, Medical Staff Services, Performance Improvement, and Employee Health. This role ensures that all departments operate in full compliance with current regulations, accreditation standards, and facility policies. The CNO is accountable for maintaining the highest level of safe, high‑quality patient care across the organization. This includes providing strategic leadership, guiding clinical operations, and fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and patient‑centered care.
