Description:

The Regional Clinical Services Coordinator is responsible for teaching of continuing education classes following the Pafford class
requirements. The Regional Clinical Services Coordinator will be instrumental in assuring quality continuing education for all Pafford
employees. The Regional Clinical Services Coordinator will be responsible for building classes and submitting appropriate information to
the Director of Clinical Services in accordance with Pafford education policy. As a Regional Clinical Services Coordinator, you will be
expected to volunteer for one of the following: QA Committee; Protocol Development Committee; Community Outreach Committee; and/or
the FTO Program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Curriculum Development: Craft and refine courses to align with Pafford’s educational needs and course requirements.
 Compliance with NCCP Standards: Ensure all courses and topics fulfill the National Continued Competency Program
(NCCP) requirements for recertification.
 Federal Education Compliance: Aid in the instruction of federally mandated educational programs.
 Quality-Driven Course Design: Utilize insights from the Quality Assurance Program for developing educational content, under
the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.
 Collaboration with Field Training Officers (FTOs): Partner with FTOs in the assigned area to deliver a robust Orientation
Program.
 Orientation Instruction: Actively participate in teaching orientation classes and guarantee comprehensive training for new
employees.
 Educational Needs Fulfillment: Work in tandem with the Director of Clinical Services to meet all educational requirements of
the company.
 Continual Medical Education: Stay abreast of medical advancements and protocols, focusing on enhancing patient care
through evidence-based medicine.
 Professional Representation: Attend state meetings, trauma boards, and other clinically relevant gatherings as delegated by
the Director of Clinical Services.
 Protocol Exam Administration: Coordinate with area managers and the Director of Clinical Services to ensure all employees
pass the annual protocol exam.
 Quality Assurance/Improvement Coordination: Collaborate with the compliance department on QA/QI activities.
 External Agency Collaboration: Partner with external agencies for joint educational initiatives and in-house training.
 Skills Testing Administration: Contribute to the development and execution of annual skills assessments to verify
competency across all care levels.
 FTO Collaboration in Training: Work closely with FTOs in the education and training of new staff members.
 Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain and organize records, manually and electronically, and generate precise reports as
required by the Clinical Services Coordinator, administration, or Executive Team.
 Effective Communication: Demonstrate proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
 Relationship Building: Establish and maintain productive working relationships with supervisors, volunteers, staff, external
agencies, and the public.
 Data-Driven Curriculum Development: Design curriculum based on data from the QA Program.
 Scenario-Based Testing Development: Create scenario-based tests for skills and assessment.
 Research and Standard of Care Updates: Conduct research on the latest patient care guidelines and standards.
 Course Material Management: Develop, coordinate, and submit all instructional materials.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

 Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience at the level of instructor
 Current National Registry Paramedic with valid State License
 Current state issued instructor license.
 ICS 100, 200, 300, 400, 800, and NIMS 700
 Knowledge of current state and national education requirements
 Current Instructor: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS
 Current EVOC/CEVO Instructor Certification

Physical Requirements:

 Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and
local standards.
 Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
 Work may involve sitting, reading, computer use, lifting, stooping, bending, stretching, walking, standing, and other physical
activities consistent with a clinic setting.
 Must be able to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
 Must possess visual acuity for reading, computer use, and routine clinical procedures.
