Pafford Medical Services is hiring a Warehouse Specialist to support our central warehouse operations. This is an entry-level position with full training provided—a great opportunity to build a career in medical supply logistics. Our Warehouse personnel are responsible for ensuring our EMS operations are stocked and ready by receiving shipments and managing inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, verify, and properly store incoming inventory, supplies, and equipment shipments.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for distribution to EMS stations, field units, and other operational locations.
  • Coordinate the ordering of supplies and materials by placing orders with approved vendors and monitoring order status to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and appropriate stock levels utilizing the organization's inventory management system.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in accordance with company policies and safety standards; obtain and maintain forklift certification as required.
  • Organize, stock, and replenish warehouse shelving and storage areas to promote operational efficiency, accessibility, and workplace safety.
  • Perform data entry and maintain inventory-related records, documentation, and transaction logs with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability.
  • Provide logistical and warehouse support during special events, emergency operations, disaster response efforts, and other organizational deployments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while ensuring compliance with all applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintains strict compliance with all Pafford’s Policies & Procedures as well as those set forth by state and federal programs.
  • May perform other related duties or task as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Current forklift certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory control and recordkeeping.
  • Must be reliable, dependable, and possess the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills, processes, and technologies.
  • Ability and willingness to deploy in support of special events, emergency operations, and disaster response efforts as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical movements, including bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and lifting.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment and safely navigate storage areas, shelving, and loading zones.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment and perform physical tasks associated with receiving, stocking, and distributing inventory.

Schedule

  • Full Time, Day Shift
  • Occasional deployment for special events and emergency operations.
