Pafford Medical Services is hiring a Supply Chain Specialist to support our local EMS operations in Faulkner and Woodruff Counties. This is an entry-level position with full training provided—a great opportunity to build a career in medical supply logistics. Our Supply Chain personnel are responsible for ensuring supplies are received from our warehouse and stocked at our local EMS stations and ambulances.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Complete inspections weekly for all stations in the assigned region. Inspections include, but are not limited to, all facilities and grounds as well as all fleet assets.
• Reports to the Director of Logistics on findings, makes recommendations and executes actions based on best practice standards and prescribed initiatives.
• Inspects all facilities and fleet assets with adherence to current OSHA compliant standards and regulations.
• Oversees materials management, logistics, supply chain, and stock rooms for assigned stations.
• Maintains strict compliance with all Pafford’s Policies & Procedures as well as those set forth by state and federal programs.
• May perform other related duties or task as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Certification of Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory control and recordkeeping.
- Must be reliable, dependable, and possess the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills, processes, and technologies.
- Ability and willingness to deploy in support of special events, emergency operations, and disaster response efforts as needed.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions and maintain regular attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical movements, including bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and lifting.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and safely navigate storage areas, shelving, and loading zones.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment and perform physical tasks associated with receiving, stocking, and distributing inventory.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
- Must possess visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures, perform accounting functions, operate a computer terminal, operate a motor vehicle, and do extensive reading.
Schedule
- Full Time, Day Shift
- Occasional deployment for special events and emergency operations.
